Frequently Asked Questions

INSTALLATION
Got problems downloading, installing and getting connected to Crazy Poker?
  1. How do I get my free software?
It's easy - just look for any DOWNLOAD button to start downloading your Crazy Poker software. Once you find it, double click and away you go! Once you have saved the file on to your hard drive, wait for a few seconds, and then you'll be prompted to run the software. (Make sure you remember where you saved your file - just in case you didn't install the poker software before the download was complete and you need to go back there later!).

  2. I have downloaded the file...what now?
You are now ready to install the Crazy Poker software! If for some reason, there is no prompt to run the software, simply double-click on the poker software "exe" file. Where is this you ask? Hopefully, you remembered where you saved the download. Go into that folder and you'll find it. If you can't remember, you'll have to go and find it. Click on the "Start" button at the bottom left hand side of this screen, and select "search". You'll need a keyword to start the search - *vegas* will do the trick. Once you have found it, click on it and install the software. If you still can't find it, give up and call us to help you.

  3. Can my computer handle these games?
You'll need to at least have these requirements before you can play:
    • IBM PC compatible computer
    • Pentium 100 or higher
    • 16 MB RAM
    • 1MB Video Card
    • 8-bit color SVGA (640x480) - 256 colors

    • Pentium 233 MMX or better
    • DirectX 3 or higher
    • 32 Megs memory or better
    • SoundBlaster compatible sound card
    • 2 MB SVGA screen card capable of 16-bit color (65535 color mode)

REGISTRATION

All you need to know about registering, buying credits, guest players and real players.

  • How can I register at the Poker room?
Once you're on the Crazy Poker screen, click on "Connect", and then click on the "Register" button.

  • You have to register a Real Account, but you may also play for free. Free or Guest Tables are available at Crazy Poker. Guest Tables are the table highlighted in blue at the bottom of the Game Screens. Players receive $2000 in Guest credits to play on a guest table. Once the credits are used up, new Guest credits will only become available on a 24-hour rotation.

  • You just have to follow the instructions and enter your e-mail and contact details. When you're asked to enter a password, bear in mind that it's case-sensitive and you should write it down somewhere so you won't forget it.

  • Once this is all done, we'll give you a player account number. Keep them in a safe place so that you won't lose it! You'll need these each and every time you want to play.

  • We'll also ask you if you want the software to remember your password. We recommend that you only select "yes" if you are the only one who has access to the software. Choose wisely as other people can play and use YOUR MONEY!

If I don't want to spend too much money - what is the minimum amount of gaming credits I can buy?

You'll need at least $20 to start playing. But, if you just feel like experimenting, you can play at our guest tables (highlighted in blue at the bottom of the game screen). Players receive $2000 in Guest credits to play on a guest table. Once the credits are used up, new Guest credits will only become available on a 24-hour rotation.

  5. How do I cash-in my winnings?
Please note that it is not necessary for you to cash in your winnings at the end of each session: your account can be left with a positive balance, and will be automatically saved by our server. All cash-ins are made through our Poker software. Simply go to the cash-in button on the main screen on the Crazy Poker software and enter the amount that you wish to withdraw in the box that appears. This will record your cash-in with us and it will appear on our systems immediately.

Please note: Players with large first time cash-ins may need to comply with certain security requirements, see the paragraph on Fraud for further information.

You have numerous options to cash-in a winning balance from your casino account.

    1. Credit Card Cash-Ins

Crazy Poker currently levies no charges for withdrawing money via this method. Cash-ins are usually refunded against original credit card deposits, however Crazy Poker may elect to honor cash-ins in the form of Direct Bank Transfers (ACH) or as a check. If a Player is using a credit card to make deposits with, it is important to note that cash-ins do not increase their purchase limit. Players need not withdraw all their winnings at the end of each session; a casino account kept in a positive balance does not have a decreased purchase limit. Should you wish to discuss this further please contact the Crazy Poker Support staff.

    2. Cash-in by company check

If you would like to request this method online then please request it from our cashier. Players can choose between a check being posted or couriered to the address they supplied the casino with when registering. There are no charges for a check sent by ordinary mail. Courier fees will depend on their location and are deducted from their cash-in amount.

    3. Cash-in by direct bank transfer (ACH)

Crazy Poker currently levies no charges for withdrawing money via this method. If you would like to request this method online then please request it from our cashier. This option is available to USA residents only. Players must e-mail through the following information:

      • the cash-in amount
      • the Player's bank account number
      • the 9 digit ABA / Routing number of their bank
      • the Player's full name as it appears as a signatory to the account
      • their type of account (Checking or Savings)

The Player Must be a signatory to the account in order to utilize this method.

    4. E-Cash Cash-Ins (NETeller/CitaDel)

Crazy Poker will also make cash-ins via NETeller/CitaDel, which are some of the fastest, safest and most convenient ways to deposit your money. These personal accounts are electronic accounts for consumers that can be securely filled with funds from a variety of sources, including Visa, MasterCard, and electronic checks, and redeemed at many Internet sites.

  6. What fraud prevention measures are in place?

Crazy Poker plays an active role in fraud prevention and detection. We aim to ensure the integrity of customer accounts as well as payments made to customers. Crazy Poker employs a variety of appropriate security and fraud prevention measures, to oversee every transaction. As with any game there will be times when you win and times when you lose. Sometimes these will extend into streaks. All information that is offered on these pages is put here to inform players of how the room operates and what measures are taken to ensure the integrity of the games that are played at Crazy Poker. Should you, at any time have a question or concern on a topic that is covered here or on any topic with regards to the operation of the poker card room, you can contact the administrative staff at crazypoker@vegaspartnerlounge.com

  17. What kind of shuffling routine do you use?
Great measures have been taken to ensure that cards dealt are completely random. The shuffling algorithms along with the random number generator have been designed to create an unpredictable shuffle.

In addition, your down cards are only ever known by you as the game is being played. The game server 'deals' them to your computer alone, making it impossible for any other player to know your cards as a hand is played.

  18. I have followed the instructions for creating an account but have not yet received my e-mail verification code, what should I do?
Occasionally, when things get a little crazy our mailbox gets clogged and prevents the outgoing mail from departing on a timely basis. NOTE: If you can't communicate with us via e-mail, you can always call toll free.

  19. What happens if I get disconnected in the middle of a game?
It is important to understand how the software deals with disconnects in the middle of a hand that you are involved in. Your hand is protected as per an "All In" situation unless you do something to fold your hand. Please note that to prevent this feature from being abused, there is a limit of "All Ins" over a 24 hour period and is set by the administrators. The "All In" counter is reset each day at 12:00am EST. Folding of a hand will occur as a result of one of the following:
    • You leave the card room in the middle of a hand.
    • You exit the game using the close box (i.e. clicking the X in top right hand corner of the screen).
    • You click the fold button, accidentally OR intentionally.
    • You are disconnected from the game and re-enter the table before that hand has completed.
    • You fail to act on your hand within 20 seconds, e.g. you "Time Out".

  20. What happens when a hand is restarted?
Occasionally a hand will appear to start, as indicated by the shuffle of the cards and the prompt for the posting of the blinds, followed by a pause and the Dealer text indicating that the "Hand Will Start Over". Player accounts will be unaffected by incomplete hands as only completed hands are posted to their accounts. This means that any blinds posted and bets made in an incomplete hand are not taken from the players true account balance.

  21. What is the rake?
Money is removed from each pot to pay the house. Our variable rake structure is 5% of the pot size, max. $3.00. See our Terms and Conditions for a definition of a raked hand.

  22. I want to play, but am not sure about buying-in just yet?
Just download and install our software and register an account. No credit information is needed at this point. You will then be able to log in and watch the action or play at a 'play money' table. If you have questions, go ahead and utilize the chat line, however, for more detailed inquiries we request you E-mail us at crazypoker@vegaspartnerlounge.com

  23. What is done about collusion?
Crazy Poker has various methods of monitoring play at tables.
